So, like I said, once the snow melts, soccer season will be in full swing, and boy is it ever! Brittana has practices on Monday and Wednesday and Plays her games on Tuesdays and Thursdays! We have decided to put piano on hold until september as things are just going to get too crazy! I'm sure she won't be to upset about that! lol
She has missed one practice this week because we made a trip to the dentist, she had still planned on playing, however, while we were at the dentist, they decided that 5, yes 5 of her teeth needed to come out! And then out they came! It was funny, after the hygentist took the x-rays, she came back and said, "well, we need to pull 7 teeth today, what do you think?" and Brittana just kind of stared, then she said I'm just kidding! Then the dentist came in and started poking around and told us that 5 would have to be removed (she had adult teeth just pushing to come through, and the baby ones were just not giving up at all!) He stated with, well that one will need to go, hmm that ones solid too, then wow!, and holy cow! started coming out, it was pretty funny (well to me, tana didnt think it was!) The hygenist was apologizing! I'm sooo sorry, I just pulled a number from nowhere, I had no idea! Funny thing was, is she had 2 teeth that if they hadn't been wiggly, they would have had to been pulled to, making a grand total of 7! I had a good laugh till they told me the tooth fairy pays double for extracted teeth! hmmm?

Other crazy news? well my kids won't be going to school tomorrow, as there have been threatning notes left around the high school saying that May 8th, people will be harmed, one even stated by fire, another just said it was going to kill someone...alot of saftey measures have been put in place and the cops are trying to figure out who is doing it, but as far as I know, they have nothing...its realy kind of scary. It is highly likley that nothing at all will happen, but the whole idea of it is scaring kids. Talyssa came home today and told me the the police are there in the school to protect them. How sad that it is required that they need to have cops in their school to protect them. You kind of think that you are immune to the crazies in the world when we live in a small, especially lds, community, and yet the world still touches us here. Some moms have asked me if I think they should send their kid to school on Friday and today, and I have just told them that they do what they feel they need to do, because who knows what will happen, if anything, and if nothing does, who is to say nothing won't happen? Where do we draw the line? I guess we have to have faith that He will guide us in what we need to do. It was interesting though, today I had to go into the High School to drop off something for Erick and I had both of the little kids with me, and I just had the worst feeling going in there...I totally made sure that the kids didn't run ahead, and just kept them with me, and I just didn't feel the same...It sounds weird, I know, but it just felt...wrong, I don't even know how to describe it...anyhow I can't wait till it all blows over, and I am really glad that Erick will be at skill tomorrow and not at the school!
The skills cometitions are in lethbridge and he get to choose certain students, in different catergories of shop (ex cabinet making, wood working) and the go and compete against other students from other schools. Everyone seems to be pretty excited about it!
Also, to put icing on the cake (this week), I GET to give a mothers day talk, yup you guessed it, on mothers! Now there's a broad subject for ya! Any ideas?

Okay, so its been pretty busy around here, we had Talyssa's birthday, I can't believe she is 6! It is crazy!
Then the kids had their spring break, they were off for a week and it was crazy, we tried to get as much work done on the house as possible. They were able to get almost all of the main level windows in, just the kitchen one still needs to be replaced, we are trying to find the right size for a decent price and are having a hard time. All of the "siding" is off now and they were able to resheet it as well. I was able to "finish" the upstairs room and last night we were able to move up here. It still needs basbords and trim and eventually, when the renos are finished, we will put carpet up here as well. For now we will settle for the painted floor. The kids had a ton of fun painting the floor, its not every day they get to do that! lol. But Talyssa was pretty upset that we were moving our bedroom up here, in her opinion "the floor is perfect for our play room!!" We also cut the hole out and the kids love swinging and climbing on the rope, Talyssa was telling her friends toaday at school, "We have a swing in our house", her friend replied, "oh, we just have a swing outside..." And as far as Erick is concerned, the swing is just the begining for that hole, he has tons of ideas!
Also, FINALLY, at midnight last night, I was able to put a load of clothes through, in my brand new, long awaited washer!!! Who would have thought that I would be excited to do laundry!! Who knew!
Well, now that school is back in, thing should slow down, for a bit! Once the snow melts again, soccer season will be in full swing!

Okay, so here I am sitting in the middle of a mess, our mess that we call a reno! I just have to keep thinking that in the end it will be much, much, much better (no matter what you think grandma! ;0)
Erick is going to have a hard time leaving all his hard work! I am happy to say though that I finally got the upstairs room primed! Now I just have to wait for Erick to put beams in downstairs, pray that the drywall upstairs doesn't crack, then I can paint, and we can finish the room and move in up there! Yeah!!
I am also still running laundry over to my moms, load after load after load! Yes, I need a new washer and we are actually going to get one, instead of trying to keep fixing this one over and over and over.....I will be one happy woman!!
I am soooo excited that Natalie had her baby!!! (Although I missed seeing her and the baby!) And now, much to Erick's dismay, I am in the process of another baby quilt! I am so excited to be doing this quilt its going to be so stinkin cute!! I've wanted to do a girls quilt for a while! Thank you Natalie! lol
Last night we went out with some friends, Becca and Jason! What a hoot!!! It had been way too long since I've hung out with Becca, It was soooo totally awsome! And some good memories too! Love ya Becca, thanks! We need to do it again SOON!

Oh, so what a week! (Sorry Sarah!) It has made me very appreciative of water! For nearly two weeks we have been out of or very low on water as the pump has been down and other variables. It is amazing how much of our life hinges on water! Doing dishes was limited, so much that I started using paper plates. It was one time that I was thankful that we have been given soooo much clothes, as doing laundry came to a stand still. But think how much 2-3 loads a day adds up after a week! Yikes!! Then showers are limited too. I was soooo happy when they finally had that pump up and running! I ran down to do a load of laundry, and guess what, it isn't working! So I have been running loads over to moms.
Oh the joys!!!
Also, we are having some trying times with poor Brittana. Poor, sweet Brittana is having problems with kids at school. She had a girl hit her and a boy throw a rock at her and she hasn't made any friends. After all our moves, this is the first time she hasn't made friends. What do you do? You can't force someone to be friends with her, and I don't want her to settle for just any friend or feel that she has to be different to get a friend....but my heart breaks for her. I've been there, and it is not fun. I talked to her teacher about it, she said it is a bad bunch of girls that are just mean to each other and she is talking to them about it. I guess the comforting thing is that it is not just her, there are others coming to the teacher with the same problem. It is so sad how kids will treat each other some times!

As for our house..or should I say mom and dads house...coming along. I have some touch ups on mudding, then I should be priming that upstairs room shortly!!! Yeah! And the bathroom walls should be coming out any day now. (I thought it was going to be last night, and I did notice a new hole in the wall this morning, like they thought about it or something?!) Anyhow, things are going to be a little different when that comes out and the renos may move a little quicker. I will be sure to take some photos to post, as soon as I get them off my camera ;)

Here we go...

So seriously, I'm doin this!

It's totally been a crazy week. We had friends out on Sunday (what a blast, and we will totally have to do it again!!), Then I decided that it would be smart ;D to do a baby quilt in 2 days! Blahhh, I work better under pressure, yes?

play, baby shower, birthday party, and sending Erick and Tana off camping! Whew! And my week is far from over! Tomorrow is our annual Easter Egg dying party (can't wait) and then its off to Montana for Ericks Grandma's birthday! It will be fun to see all the cousins again!

Its nice to be back home again so we can do all of this again! I love it! Even though I totally miss Edmonton and everyone up there!

So aside from busy, it has been a very enjoyable week!

P.S. The play was awesome, good work Emily and Tanner! You two made the play!
